Mobility of Staff
Durante a semana de 24 a 28 de março de 2025 foi realizado um programa de acolhimento em regime de jobshadowing a 3 professores oriundos da First High School of Peristeri Athens, Penelope Priovolou – professora de inglês, Christoforos Zachopoulos – professor de biologia e Stergios Tsourekas – diretor e professor de matemática. Ao longo da semana, para além das actividades de receção e apresentação sobre o nosso sistema educativo e orgânica da nossa escola, o grupo observou actividades letivas na área das ciências, tecnologias e línguas estrangeiras. Tiveram, ainda, a possibilidade de visitar o nosso CTE de Informática, compreender as dinâmicas pedagógicas em contextos exteriores à sala de aula, perceber o funcionamento da biblioteca escola e conhecer as actividade do Clube de Robótica.

«We are very grateful for the great kindness and hospitality the teachers in Agrupamento De Escolas De Vilela received us. During this mobility we had the chance to attend innovative practices and learn how other teachers deliver their lessons. We did not only learn about the function of the entire school,(primary, secondary, high school, general and vocational), but we also learnt about the Portuguese educational system.
Through the participation and observation of other teachers’ work, we saw that lessons are conducted by using interactive teaching tools, giving emphasis on project-based learning, using creative management techniques and digital resources in their curriculum.
For the better competence of teachers’ digital skills special workshops are held where they are educated .Emphasis is given on combining different subject areas to see the connections across various fields of study, team work for common goals and the use of project-based learning especially in vocational school was awesome.
The school library has a key role for the implementation of projects providing a diverse collection of material that support the curriculum and students’ personal interest, teaching students to locate, evaluate and use information effectively , and offering areas where children can work together, fostering teamwork and communication skills.
Foreign languages, Digital System and Computer Architecture, Biology Maths, Geography, are taught with good practices and ideas engaging the students in a more forceful learning progress.
Going back to our school we are very thankful for the connections we made as the function of this school surpassed our expectations and imparted great knowledge to us which we wish to use in our school.»
